Privacy Policy
What we hold, why we hold it, and how to have it corrected or removed.
Jovelle Lounge collects the minimum needed to get an order to your door. This policy follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000) with the rules made under it.
What we collect
Name, delivery address, PIN code, phone number and email address.
Items, date, amount and the success or failure result returned by the UPI gateway.
IP address, browser and device type and pages viewed, via cookies and analytics.
Your emails, including any unboxing video sent with a damage claim.
Why we use it
To process and deliver your order, keep you updated, handle returns, refunds and cancellations, answer questions, meet Indian record-keeping obligations and screen for fraud. Nothing else. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
Who else sees it
Only those who need it to complete your order: our courier partners, who receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver, and our UPI payment gateway. Otherwise we disclose data only where a court, regulator or law-enforcement agency requires it under Indian law.
Retention and security
Order records are kept as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires; support correspondence while a matter is open and a reasonable period after. The site runs over HTTPS and payment credentials never reach our servers.
Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
You may request a copy of your personal data, ask for corrections, ask us to erase what we no longer need, or withdraw consent. We respond within a reasonable period, normally inside 30 days.
Children
This store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Replacement requests
A video or photograph sent with a damaged-item report is used solely to assess and settle that replacement request, and kept only until the matter closes.
